On Monday, 3 girls and 2 boys participated in the McDonald’s Michiana High School All Star basketball game.

Seniors Lauren Ellenberger and Casey Morton and junior Claire Carlton represented Penn in the Girls All Star game. Lauren and Claire were a part of the losing team, who were wearing red jerseys, and Casey was on the winning team, who wore gray.

Lauren Ellenberger had 9 points and one 3-pointer for the Red team who lost 99-90. Claire Carlton had 6 points.

Casey Morton had 14 points and led the Gray team with three 3-pointers.

The two leading scorers for the game were both Senior Guards from South Bend Washington. Camille Coleman led all scorers with 30 points and Tiara Murphy had 27 points.

On the boy’s side, Seniors Ryan Lutz and Billy Doslak were selected to play and tried their best during every moment. They both were on the winning team, wearing the Gray McDonald’s uniforms.

Both Ryan and Billy scored 10 points on the way to a 126-105 victory. Billy had 3 assists and Ryan had 4 rebounds.

The star of the show was Concord’s Filip Serwatka who scored 45 points and also grabbed 8 rebounds for the losing Red team. Princeton commit Devin Cannady posted a triple double for the Gray team, with 19 points, 10 assists, and 10 rebounds.
