Penn woman’s soccer has been unstoppable this season, winning all 13 games so far. Penn won another conference game, 6-1 against the Indians of St. Joe. Penn started slow with an early goal being conceded by Sam Kambol in the second minute.

Saint Joseph played a defensive game for the majority of the first half but couldn’t hold off Penn’s strong attacking force. Penn equalized in the 30th minute and went up in the 36th minute both through goals by Jensen Stroinski.

In the second half Penn came out swinging with Mackenzie Mason and Brooke Van Dyke scoring in the 47th and 50th minute respectively. The goals did not stop sailing in until the game ended with Kacey Wood scoring in the 66th minute and Stroinski finishing off her hat trick in the 73rd minute.

When asked about the competition, Brooke Van Dyke said “Well Saint Joe… was our biggest rival and I think our hardest competition, but we won last night so I think we will play them again come tournament time, but I think we will beat them.”

The girls team is very confident in there skill as a team and is expecting a NIC win.
