Women’s soccer didn’t have to travel far for their October 24 victories against Leo and Fishers in the Semi-State Semi Final game and the Semi State Final.

The Women played Leo at 12:00 PM on Saturday and won with a score of two to nothing.  The Lady Kingsmen scored one goal in the first half and one goal in the second half.  Leo wasn’t able to score due to Penn’s strong defense.  This win propelled them onto the Semi State Final game.

Later that day at 7:00 PM the Lady Kingsmen had their Semi State Final game against Fisher.  During the first half Penn scored three goals and held Fisher to none, but slowed down in the second half when they didn’t score at all.  The final score of the game was Penn winning three to nothing.

The State Final game will be on October 31 at 3:30 PM at Carroll Stadium in Indianapolis against Brebeuf Jesuit Preparatory.
