Battle of the Bands auditions to take place

Are you a member of a band? Auditions for Penn’s annual Battle of the Bands competition are Tuesday, February 2nd.

The competition showcases various bands from the Penn community. Student organizer, Penn junior Olivia Taylor, describes it as “an opportunity for bands around Penn High School to play music for their fellow students.”

This is Olivia’s first year working on the project, and she is currently working on publicity. She says that the competitors consist mostly of punk, metal, and other types of rock bands.

Auditions packets can be picked up in the main office or the counseling center. The contest will take place on March 24th, and tickets will be available at the door for $4.
