Penn High School’s DECA students have returned from International Competition in Nashville with amazing results. There were 19,000 students from around the world to attend to the Competition, with 180 students in each category.

The student’s score is based on comparison of a 100 question paper test that was taken in each category. Each student has put in hard work and have dedicated their time to put in a lot of effort towards DECA and Penn.

Kendra Laidig is the incoming Penn DECA President and has aspirations to run for a State DECA officer position. Kendra attended a 2-day leadership academy to prepare her for running our chapter in the 2016-2017 school year and for state elections in 2017.

The winners for individual events are as follows:

Cassidy Jurkaites – Financial Consulting

Kyle Cather – Professional Selling

Kennedy Parker – Principles Of Selling

Kacey Wood – Advertising Campaign

Danielle Kovach – Hospitality & Tourism Professional Selling

Kendra Laidig – Elevate Academy
