If you think you’re up to the challenge of escaping from a locked room, be sure to go to the Mishawaka Library on Friday, September 16.
From 6:30 to 8:30 that Friday, the Mishawaka Public Library will be turning one of it’s rooms into an escape room for teens to get out of. Go through the room in teams of 4 to 6 to break out in 45 minutes or less. Participants will have to solve puzzles and use teamwork to succeed.
While teens are not searching for freedom, there will be a variety of different games to play. The library will provide Wii U games (Super Smash Bros., Mario Kart 8, Just Dance, etc.), Minecraft, and plenty of board games to play until the results are in.
The escape room event will be held on September 16, 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. at the Mishawaka Library (209 Lincolnway East). There will also be a meeting of the Teen Advisory Group from 5 to 6 at the same location. The group helps plan more events like the escape room. Both the meeting and escape room are free.
Please register for both opportunities online at www.mphpl.org under Upcoming Events: Teens. If you have any questions, please contact Jennifer Ludwig, Services Coordinator (259-5277, ext. 1401/j.ludwig@mphpl.org).
