From March 7th through the 9th, the Penn Theatre Department wowed audiences with “The Spongebob Musical,” a nostalgic smash hit!
Spongebob is dedicated to having the best day every day. But when a monstrous volcano threatens to destroy Bikini Bottom, Spongebob and his friends Patrick and Sandy must find a way to save their beloved home before it’s too late.
The cast was clad in colorful and funky costumes as they interacted in the audience and on stage underneath glowing jellyfish and rainbow lights. Audience members had a spectacular time listening to the voices of the talented actors and enjoyed the lighthearted energy the musical emitted.
