The film had a weekend opening of $44 million domestically and $100 million worldwide but why is it so successful?
A lot of critics was predicting this movie to have a very low opening weekend and make very little money throughout it’s time through the theaters. the $3 billion franchise was at risk and everyone was concerned but the audience pulled through. having a successful opening weekend and has grossed worldwide of $243,000,000 which is the 8th highest grossing film of all time in North America
