As the 2019-2020 school year comes to a close, students complete their e-learning while thinking about the summer nights ahead. But in this pandemic, where can anyone go? Every year, people from all over the state look forward to their county fairs. The Elkhart County Fair and the St. Joseph County Fair annually brings hundreds of people from around the state to attend. This year, the St. Joseph County Fair will be on track to open July 4th, and the Elkhart County Fair will open following Governor Holcomb’s Back on Track plan. This plan will slowly allow Indiana businesses to reopen and gain capacity. Purdue and other fair organizers will not decide to go on with their plans until June 1st. If Perdue decides not to hold the 4-H component, there may still be a carnival and entertainment.
