This Friday, Aug. 29th the Freshmen Mentors of Penn High School are coming together for a day of fun and excitement, as they welcome the new mentors with a training day.
The training day will be held at River Valley Church, located across from Penn. Students who ride the bus to school will be meeting at Door C and will be walked over to River Valley by Mrs. Lindzy and Mrs. O’Grady.
However, students who drive may park in the parking lot of River Valley and will enter the front door of the church by 8:25am. The items needed are a smiling face, enthusiastic attitude, and cell phone.
This a mandatory training day and for students to continue being a mentor for the 2014-2015 school year.
Mentors will be excused from school that day, but are responsible for any missing work. Training day will be concluded at 3:00pm. Students who ride the bus will be walked back to Door A. Student drivers are free to leave when told.
