The PNN news board is full of stories once again. PNN media-campers are running all over Penn’s grounds to shoot video, interview camp-participants, and write stories about their experiences.

The PNN media camp is run by Mr. McNulty, and this year, he is assisted by PNN executive director, Ethan Sandock, producers, Gary Babocoke, Cam Carpenter, Ashley Catanzarite, and Lindsey Zimmerman.

Media-campers are learning how to use cameras, tripods, and microphones to gather information about the different camps taking place on the Penn campus. They are interviewing campers, volunteers, and coaches in order to get details about their camps.

One of the funnest parts of the PNN media camp is going out and meeting other campers, talking to them about their experiences, and gaining an understanding of what other kids are doing on their summer vacations.

When media-campers return to the newsroom, they import their interviews and footage into an editor, and then write their stories. Campers will be writing and editing tomorrow, so stay tuned to PNN for those stories and a video update.

By the end of the week media-campers will be stepping into the studio to shoot a news show about the week. That will be their culminating experience.

Media Camp Still Enrolling for next week, June 15th-19th.

If you know of a 10-14 year-old that you think would like to participate in this type of camp, please send them to this link. There they will get more information about the camp, and they can sign up for the camp here.

You can also use the contact form to the right to contact Mr. McNulty directly.
