During the 2015 school year high school sophomores and juniors from around the country, partook in the 2015 PSAT.

Earlier this week the semifinalists for the National Merit Scholarship were announced.  Out of the 16,000 students selected, 13 attend Penn.

They include Grant Brenner, Muqsit Buchh, Balajimonesh Devireddy, Jonathan Harley, Sanjana Kulkarni, Julia Kwak, Mason Lee, Hannah McGinness, Baker Nasser, Peter Rutkowski, Emma Schultz, Matthew Shan, and Michelle Tapp.

This years finalists will be announced in February, with the winners being announced in the spring or summer.

When asked, what advice would you give to the upcoming juniors taking this life changing test, Mason Lee responded, “studying helps but just not stressing out to much about it. It’s one test so you can either have a really good day or bad day, it just depends on how you feel, so just make sure your getting a good nights sleep and feeling good for the test.”
