Today, Thursday, June 18th, there will be a visitation for Nick and Jack Savage, both recent Penn graduates, from 3:00-8:00 PM in Penn’s Main Arena to accommodate the expected outpouring of community support.

Visitors are asked to enter at the traffic signal in front of Penn High School (off of Bittersweet Rd.) and park in the front main lot. All guests should enter through Door D, which is located on the northwest corner of the building. Door B will be used as the exit. When guests enter through Door D, they will be directed through the corridor and into the Main Arena. Guests will have the opportunity to express their condolences to the family. Along with paying their respects, they’re able to view the memorials.

After the visitation, there will be a Candlelight Vigil at 9 PM by Door C. There will be no open mic at the Vigil according the the Penn High School administration. However, students are invited to share their memories and printed photographs in the Penn High School cafeteria. If the weather turns inclement, the Vigil will be moved inside to Penn’s cafeteria.

For the students, graduates, staff, parents, and community members who were, and still are affected by this loss, the doors of the Penn Counseling Center will be open from June 15th through the 19th from 8:00 AM until noon. To arrange another time, please call 258-9505.

If you would like to attend to the funeral, it will be held Friday, June 19th at Sunnyside Presbyterian Church at 115 S. Frances Street in South Bend at 11:00 AM.
