Penn has given students a Digital Access Card for the Mishawaka Penn Harris Public Library.
The Mishawaka Penn Harris Public Library has given students a Digital Access Card to help with classes, as well as many other things such as academic and daily life purposes.
“[The Digital Access Card] can check out online books, and unlock the database, which has all sorts of practice papers for your classes and even SAT help.” says Elena Effertz, a junior in the class of 2018. She, like every student at Penn, has a Digital Access Card, since they were given to students at the start of the school year. If you’ve lost yours, go to the main office and they can give you another one.
As Effertz said, the card can help you practice for tests such as the SAT or ACT. Also, if you are writing an essay, you can easily find articles that would support your claim. But the Digital Access Card can help with your hobbies and interests. The Auto Repair section can help you change the oil in your new card. If you’re an artist, you can use the Hobbies & Crafts Reference Sector to help make a painting, sculpture, graphic novel, or more.
“It’s a very helpful tool to use if you are technological.” says Effertz. The Digital Access Cards can be found in the white packets received at the start of the school year. If you’re missing the packet or the card, you can go the main office and they will supply you with a new one.
