Penn ranked No. 1 in Indiana for students earning college credits

For the second year in a row Penn High School is ranked # 1 in the state with the highest number of students earning college credentials through Ivy Tech, either ICC (Indiana College Core), AGS (Associate of General Studies) or CTE certifications, according to Penn High School Principial, Mr. Galiher.

For the 2022-23 school year, Penn had 195 students earn a total of 227 degrees or certificates. According to https://penn.phmschools.org, Penn’s national reputation for excellence is based on its outstanding academic, athletic and fine arts programs. Penn has been featured on national TV network news for students’ ingenuity and creativity.

With a 98% graduation rate the Penn High community is focused on  graduating responsible young adults who are college and career ready. More than 80% of Class of 2023 students graduated with High Honors, Academic Honors and Technical Honors.
