Current seniors are now able to take pharmacy technician classes being offered at IUSB every Monday and Wednesday from six to eight thirty p.m. until April Sixteenth.
Students who take these classes will be able to get a head start in the pharmaceutical field with experienced practitioners teaching students how to prepare investigational drugs, controlled substances and other tasks such as taking refill orders.
Additionally, students who completed the program will be eligible to apply for a state pharmacy technician license, and take the national exam given by the pharmacy technician certification board.
