Seeking out Halloween terror? Check out the Niles Scream Park!

The fear is overwhelming, but the fun is non-stop at the Niles Scream Park! In Niles, Michigan, the park is here again for another season of excitement and horror. The park, being 44 acres of chilling attractions, is a non-profit organization, the income benefiting over 60 various charities.

Throughout the park, you’ll find many exciting, yet terrifying attractions, including the infamous Field of Screams, and The Curse of the Dark Walker. Some amazing booths are set up too, such as psychic readings! Tons of characters wisp about the park, creeping up like a sudden breeze. All of the characters, and even people who aren’t walking about but working the park, are volunteers. The volunteers are part of the organizations that get funded through this park, and over 400 volunteers work every year. It’s a neat opportunity for both ends!

Special events are going to occur at the park as well, such as the blackout on November 8th, where patrons are given one glow stick, and all of the lights are turned off the entire night. The most recent event was the visit from the Halloween star himself, Tony Moran! Speaking with him, he said that being one of the biggest Halloween stars, he feels extremely grateful.

A lot has gone into the production of this park, and it has been around for over 40 years. Niles definitely has a different vibe to it than other haunted houses. No gore or extreme behavior, but the shock factor and the seasonal fun make this park worthwhile. If you are interested in some haunted fun this year, or just enjoy getting your pants scared off, you should definitely check out the Niles Scream Park! Tickets for the whole park are $30 for a full night of the entire park. All ages are welcome, but the young ones may need parental guidance along this park. The park is open until November 30th on weekends, so stop by before it is too late! Fun awaits here… if you dare.
