This weekend, on January 17th and January 18th, Penn High School will be hosting the districts tournament for National Speech and Debate. On Friday night, debaters will partake in the first two rounds, as they try to collect as many ballots in their favor as they can. On Saturday, both speech and debate will be there. While for speech this is just another tournament, debate is different. A districts tournament is the qualification tournament for nationals, which will be held at Albuquerque New Mexico this year.
