Are you interested in acting, tech theatre, or do you just love watching shows? Then the Penn Theatre Club is for you!

¨Penn theatre club is a way for students who are interested in theatre in any way shape or form; whether you like to perform, whether you like to watch productions, whether you like tech, or whether you’re just kinda like ¨Hey I like these people and it sounds fun¨. We get together, we hang out, we talk about theatre, we talk about what’s up and coming we talk about shows within the community, and we really just do all things theatre¨. Says Mrs. Qualls, a theatre teacher and theatre club proctor at Penn.

So when is theatre club meeting? Theatre club will be meeting the first Friday of every month for a half hour after school (from 3:30-4:00 pm).

If you still are on the fence about whether or not to join the club here are some reasons why you should at least give it a try.

¨People should join theatre club because we’re awesome. We have a lot of fun. We are a very diverse group of people, you probably won’t find a more diverse group of people anywhere in the entire building. We accept everybody [and] we love everybody. And as I always say, we are constantly taking in strays. We are the group that if you wanna just come and hang out and have some fun that’s us, and we just happen to do some of this theatre stuff on top of it.¨ Added Mrs. Qualls. ¨There really is something for everybody. There’s something for you to learn about yourself¨
