The Kingsmen took a devastating loss to undefeated Crown Point in a 34-33 thriller, as the Crown Point bulldogs had a hard fought out win to seal them going to Semi-State. After forcing a 3 and out, the Bulldogs punt it back to Penn, so they are down at their own 5 yard line. McCollaugh has an amazing drive, to set them up in field goal range. With 13.6 seconds left on the clock, the field goal team came on, and the 44 yard kick by DeDario was blocked by Crown Point, leading them to go in victory formation to seal the win for Crown Point and stunning the Penn Kingsmen. In the pregame report, I expected Crown Point to have a high, exhilarating offense, and they did. Led by Nolan Erlich, the Crown Point offense had a great game led by a hard fought out passing attack. However, despite the loss, Penn played one of their best games all season. They utilized the passing attack led by Nolan Mcollaugh, Elijah Coker, Kellan Watson, and Kayvon Bordon. A great game played by both sides, with Crown Point just getting the edge over Penn.
