Speech team is off to sectionals after valparaiso tournament

The speech team went to Valparaiso high school on Saturday, February 22nd. A lot of fun was had there and a few Penn representatives broke into the final rounds. Charles Johnson in International Ex-temp and Olivia Schultz in Dramatic interpretation were among these students. Even people who didn’t go all the way had a good time at Valparaiso. Next weekend is the sectional tournament at Concord high school. We spoke with one of the speech team representatives, Andrew Dunn, and he said “I feel that I shouldn’t feel overconfident, but I do feel confident that I can do at least do something for the team”. This season the speech team has a lot of novices, but Andrew, said “I feel like we are doing fairly well for the amount of novices we have”.
