On February 29th, at Tecumseh Junior High School, Penn FIRST Tech Challenge teams 4600 B1nary Bots and 12092 Bravo Bots ranked high enough to make it into the 24 teams attending the states tournament. According to Evan White, the FTC coach, B1nary Bots won 2nd place for the design award, an area they’ll be focusing on from now on. The other Penn FTC teams are working on a robot for an outreach event, at the FRC tournament. They’ll be showing off what robotics is, and the stages of robotics kids can enter in.
