On Monday, December 9th, the Penn Debate team/class will be hosting a live debate for anyone to watch. The debates will be held between the team of Lyvia and Armita and the team of Luke and Oliver. The two will engage in a policy debate, a form of debate that typically last for an hour or more. Policy debate is known to be heavily dependent on facts and is mostly spoken in evidence itself.

The two teams will be debating the following resolution, Resolved: The United States Federal government should substantially reduce direct commercial sales and foreign military sales of arms to foreign countries. The team of Lyvia and Amrita will argue for the negation, and Luke and Oliver will argue for the affirmative.
