On Saturday, November 9, 2019, the Penn Marching Band went to Indianapolis, Indiana at Lucas Oil Stadium for the ISSMA State Finals. This is the 22nd time that the Kingsmen have made it to state, but they are planning on making it to finals more. In finals, the Penn Kingsmen were one of the ten bands who were competing. They ended up placing 9th place out of all of the bands in Indiana state. Adriana Sciba, a student in band who plays the flute says, “We all put in our best effort, and competing at Lucas Oil Stadium is a huge honor to go to, and it’s so much fun to experience.” Congratulations to the marching band for their performance this year!
