The Penn Marching Pep Band has started. Interested student-musicians can sign up anytime before Wednesday, October 27th. The first Pep Band rehearsal will take place on Wednesday, the 27th at 4 PM. The Band has also released a video to generate excitement about the Pep Band. See Kingsman Nation for the link.
Many precautions have been taken in order to ensure the safety of not only the Pep Band, but the safety of the sports teams and guests of the Penn School. When not playing, students are required to wear masks and maintain social distancing as best as possible. Instruments such as clarinets, trumpets, saxophones, euphoniums, and tubas are required to wear bell covers. Instruments such as flutes are required to wear plexiglass covers while playing.
