The Penn speech team went to Crown Point High school on Feburary 8th, 2020. It was a lot of fun, and it ended with an epic lip sync battle that hyped up the whole room. Chesterton did very well, taking first in many categories and won the tournament in overall points. Penn High School placements are as follows:
Avanav Kotoru, 5th place Discussion, Tansima Med , 7th place Humorous interpretation, Andrew Dunn 5th place impromptu, Charles Johnson, 5th place, extemp international, Tasneem Ahmed, 7th place POI, Olivia Schultz, 6th place POI, Lyvia Li, 3rd place, Extemp US, Penn overall took 3rd in the tournament. It is still not too late to join the Penn Speech team as there are two tournaments left the next 2 weekends before districts.
