The PNN crew has been bringing the news to Penn High School for fourteen years now, and every year we have made changes in order to keep pace with the rapidly changing media of news delivery.  Well, 2013 is no different.  We are leaving our old site, pnn.phmschools.org, in order to improve our news delivery to you.

Foremost, we are incorporating a responsive design in our news website which will allow you to get the latest news and announcements on your mobile device.  With the advent of mobile computing at Penn, we feel this is a crucial step.  If you want to try it out, merely shrink this browser window and see hour our site reacts.

In 2012, we started hosting our show on Youtube.  Not only will we continue to host it there, but we are going to step up our game with other social media.  You can look forward to getting news at our Twitter and Facebook accounts.  We will also continue to use the Google suite of applications in order to provide you the latest in news, announcements, and events.

Also in 2012, PNN partnered with WNIT and Michiana Access TV to bring you our PNN News Magazine Show on cable tv.  This is a half hour of PNN programming offered on Comcast Channel 99.  It is a roundup of all that is happening here at Penn as well as some extras such as concert footage, sports coverage, and more.

Finally, there is another change coming.  We are not going to leak it to you yet, but suffice it to say that we are actively developing a community partnership that will transform the way you get all of your local news.  So stay tuned to PNN, and remember our new address, pnn.massmediastudies.org.

As always, thank you for tuning in.
