FAFSA is a very important first step on the long road in applying for colleges and scholarships. FAFSA is an application that allows students to qualify for government aid when paying for college.

Michigan and Indiana hold a College Goal Sunday which gathers parents, students, and FAFSA professionals to talk about what needs to be filed, how, and when.

Southwestern Michigan is holding events on Feb. 8 and 22 while Indiana universities will hold the events on Feb. 22.

Indiana’s filing will begin at 2 pm at the following locations:

South Bend: Room 1105, Education & Arts Building, Indiana University South Bend.

Plymouth: Plymouth High School, 810 Randolph Drive.

Elkhart: Indiana University South Bend’s Elkhart Center, 125 E. Franklin St.

Goshen: Goshen College, in the Union Building.

Westville: Purdue University North Central, in the Technology Building.

Warsaw: Ivy Tech Community College, 2545 Silveus Crossing.
