Even though the homecoming game and dance was cancelled this Friday night, you can still have a great weekend either at home, or around town!

Home activities for this weekend can include a wide variety of options. First off, you can always of coarse watch Netflix. Nothing is better then sitting on the sofa on a early fall day with it raining outside, while you’re all cozy watching your favorite shows with a snack at hand. So, if you’re looking for something relaxing, but yet entertaining, that might be your best bet!

In addition to staying home, but not feeling up for a lazy day, you can always get your homework done early so you’re not rushing to do it on Sunday night, or you can cook a nice meal for yourself or others. Show your guests those mad cooking skills! If you’re a cleaner, then clean! Put your favorite tunes on, and just get to work, if that’s your cup of tea.

But what if you want to get out this weekend? Well, you’re in luck because there is a lot to do this weekend here in Michiana. On Saturday morning, the Chicago Blackhawks will be at the Compton Family Ice Arena starting at 9 AM. Tickets are very limited for Saturday, but there is another camp training day on Sunday. And of coarse the Notre Dame is this Saturday against Georgia Tech at 3:30 PM at Notre Dame that can be viewed on NBC. If you and your family and friends want to go over and hangout to support the Irish, then you’ll have something to do outside of your house on Saturday that is sure to be a good time. For more information and pricing on the Blackhawks Training Camp, and the Notre Dame Football game, visit their website, right here.

Also, the Nile Haunted House in now open until Friday, November 7th in the spirit of Halloween. If you’re looking for a scare this weekend, and a good time with family and friends, you might want to head on up to Niles. For pricing and specific dates, click here.

So as you can see, even though the homecoming dance and game cancellation may have washed out your Friday night plans, there still is a great deal of activities you can do in the comfort of your own home, or out around town this weekend. And of coarse you can always go and support other Kingsmen who will be participating in sports or extra curricular activities this weekend! Schedules can be found at phmschool.org.
