Fifty years ago, two American astronauts walked on the moon for the first time in human history. This coming summer on Saturday July 20, 2019 the Penn Harris Madison Digital Video Theater will host an open house to celebrate the 50th anniversary of Apollo 11 Moon Landing. This event will take place from 8am to 12pm at Bittersweet Elementary.

All ages are welcome to attend, and the event is free. There will be activities for children, teenagers, and adults. The DVT will be premiering a new show by Max Adler called, “Imagine the Moon.” There will also be a Museum tour, booths related to space, and telescopes to observe the sky and have a good time.

According to DVT intern and member of the class of 2019, Brandon King, “there will be opportunities to look through our museum where we have tons of stuff that has been donated by astronauts, stuff that has been loaned from NASA, Smithsonian, and plenty of stuff that been on the moon.”
