If you’re passionate about singing, dancing, and acting, or if you’re a fan of musicals, then you’ve got an audition coming up right here at Penn High School. With a capital P, that rhymes with T, which stands for theater.
Penn’s winter theatrical production will be Meredith Wilson’s “The Music Man.” The show is a musical, , featuring Broadway classics like “Seventy-Six Trombones,” and “Ya Got Trouble,” and tells about a travelling salesman named Harold Hill and how his visit changes the sleepy town of River City, Iowa, as much as they changed him. Performance days will be on March 1st, 2nd, and 3rd.
Auditions for cast members are taking place on Monday, November 20th from 3:30-6:00 PM, with callbacks the following day. Interested students should pick up audition materials and details about the production from the choir room (170), or email anemeth@phm.k12.in.us and asecaur@phm.k12.in.us for more information.
