Hello and welcome once again to Cheap Date, where you can have a fun time without breaking the bank. December has kicked off, and it’s time to start celebrating the holidays! Today we’ll be talking about the Reindog Prance (formerly known as the Reindog Parade).

The Reindog Prance is a joyous occasion where pooches dress up in all sorts of holiday-themed costumes and compete for prizes! If you don’t have a canine companion, bring the family to watch the parade, as well as enjoy many other holiday- and Christmas-themed events. There will be cookie decorating, ornament crafting, pictures with Santa, Christmas movies, and stories with Mrs. Claus! Attendees can also win prizes in the hourly raffle.

The Reindog Prance will take place at Four Winds Field in South Bend on Saturday, December 5th. The parade starts at 11 am and registration begins at 10:30. Various events will continue until 4pm. There is no cost for admission or registration for the parade. Donations will be accepted and will benefit South Bend Animal Care and Control. The detailed schedule is as follows (it is subject to change):

10:30am – Line up and registration for Reindog Prance
11:00am – Reindog Prance begins outside Cubs Den Team Store
12:00pm – 1:30pm: Make Your Own Ornament Station
