Annual Evening of Jazz Highlights PHM Bands

Penn High School’s annual Evening of Jazz was performed earlier in the month of February. The performance included bands from Penn, Grissom, and Discovery. This performance was the only showcase for the After-School Jazz Club, and included pieces that all jazz bands had been working on, featuring different students on solo instruments.

The band was also accompanied by Ball State’s Director of Jazz Studies, Mark Buselli, who soloed on a piece for each band. All the tickets sales have been dedicated to funding the Penn Jazz Program. Good job to all of our Kingsmen and middle school students during the Evening of Jazz.
