Freshman mentors are upperclassmen that help freshmen, usually two or three to a group, get to know Penn and make friendships as well as aiding them in getting used to their classes and the new environment. They bring snacks, like donuts and cookies, and play short games as well as discussing things that are on their freshmen’s minds and giving advice based on their own experiences. This is also a great time for mentors develop leadership and communication skills.

Freshman mentors meet with their freshmen in LGI B on Thursdays and Fridays during first semester study hall.
