Girls Empowerment Club started last year in an effort to build up and support the women of our community. The Club meets once a month to get together and build each other up as girls and women. Ms Bates, a councilor here at Penn and also apart of the Club says “It’s important to have time in your schedule to help you remember to love and respect your self, and even remind you of the take threes we have here at Penn. take care of each other, take care of yourself, and take care of this place”. The club helps to make the members mentally healthier and happier. During the first 6 weeks of the program during first semester the members have “training” which introduce these kind of self-respecting tools.

It’s easy to join and get involved just contact Mrs. White at cwhite@phm.k12.in.us
