Penn’s Speach Team traveled to Hamilton Southeastern High School to compete in the ISSDA Stae Speech Tournament. Together, the team finished runner-up in the AAA class and placed fifth as the team score. Many students made it to the last round.
Chris Chen placed 3rd in U.S. Extemporaneous speaking, Alex Wagler placed 4th in Original Performance, Mia Helm placed 4th in Discussion, Stanley Liew placed 4th in Extemporaneous Speaking and 5th in informative speaking, and finally, Akul Bhambani placed 5th in International Extemporaneous.
