Penn’s new student government, the Kingsmen Court, has announced some of the details of Penn’s Homecoming 2016, including a new hallway decorating event.

Homecoming week will be from September 26th through September 30th. The theme will be “space”. More details about the week of the event are still to come. In addition to the week of, though, there’s plenty to get excited about beforehand. New to homecoming this year is the hallway decorating event.

Any and all clubs at Penn are invited to decorate an area of their choosing after school on Friday, September 23rd. Though any club may participate in the event, each of the following clubs has been asked to decorate the specified area:

DECA: balcony over commons to the Writing Center
Student Section: commons
Key Club: Hallway from 152 to cafeteria
Drama Club: sunshine hallway

Clubs have the freedom to interpret the “space” theme in any (school appropriate) way they choose, including science fiction media and space science.

The hallway decorating event is separate from the yearly door decorating event, and both will be occurring this year.

For more details, including important information about how and where clubs may hang decorations, see the attached letter from the Kingsmen Court. PNN will continue to bring you updates on Homecoming 2016 as more information is released.
