The annual Penn High School Choir Concert, Sounds of the Season, is scheduled for Thursday, December 11th and Friday, December 12th at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, December 14 at 3:00 p.m. in the Penn High School Center for the Performing Arts.

The concert will include the traditional candlelight processional with over 200 singers from the six combined choirs singing festive favorites. The concert will finish off with the Penn Choir alumni joining the six combined choirs on stage to sing the traditional “Hallelujah” Chorus.

This year, the Penn Choirs will help support ALS research by donating $1 of each ticket purchased. Attendees are encouraged to donate money in the red bins during intermission and after the concert.

The Penn Choirs have donated nearly $50,000 over the past 13 years to local and national charitable organizations in this manner.

Tickets are $6 and will be available December 3, 4, and 8-11 from 11:30 a.m.-1:15 p.m. during the lunch hour at Penn High School (enter at Door A).

Tickets will also be available at the box office one hour prior to each performance. Tickets may also be purchased online at www.ticketracker.com.

Tickets sell quickly, so all are encouraged to buy their tickets soon.
