Winter has come to a close, and with the passing of winter, the Ski Club has also ended. Penn’s ski club was able to get up to Swiss Valley Ski Resort a total of four times.Swiss Valley was open on Sunday, but spokeswoman Jamie Stafne, when interviewed by South Bend Tribune, commented about the rain ruining the season. “ We’re dealing with the same water problems as everybody else.” On the intermediate slope, a retention pond now stands where the usual ski lift loading area would’ve been. This years season was sporadic due to the weather but was overall much better than last year. If you’re going to be at Penn, next sign-ups will come around again during November and December. Packets will be outside room 160 next season.
