On Wednesday, October 11th, the Sophomores and Juniors will take the yearly PSAT test. Freshmen and Seniors have to do e-Learning from home, due to changes by the College Board. Unlike last year, students have to go to their B3 and B4 classes instead of testing the whole day. Also unlike last year, the test is now entirely digital.
The freshmen are going to take the PSAT 8/9 in the spring at the same time that juniors are taking the SAT. This was necessary due to changes made to the administration of the test by the College Board.

The PSAT has four sections: two for both Reading & Writing and Math, respectively. When the student has completed a section, they cannot move on to the next one until the current section’s timer expires. During breaks, students can have snacks they brought from home.
The PSAT/NMSQT is important for the school because the results provide math and English teachers with information they need to help prepare students who will take the SAT during the spring of their junior year. Student performance on the SAT is now a part of school accountability which simply means that it figures into our school grade.

The PSAT can help students plan their college life. For example, it helps students get college recommendations based on how well they did on the test. It can also be useful if you want to plan what to do after high school. Finally, it also helps students by having them hold accountability for their grades. To conclude, if you want to get into a good education in the future, try studying and doing well on the PSAT so it can help you succeed.
