The Penn Kingsmen boy’s track and field team finished second overall against Elkhart Central and Clay with a final score of 64.

Sabin Gorset won the long jump with a length of 20.5 ft, John Ohlson came in third.

Penn’s discuss thrower Payne McCaskill came in second while Parker Adkins finished in fourth.

Elkhart Central won the shot put event; Penn’s Matt Endicott placed second.

In the 3200 meter relay, Penn placed second with a time of 8:50. The Kingsmen runners included Matt Long, Tyler Davis, John Brown, and Hudson Huth. Elkhart Central won the relay with a time of 8:43.

Elkhart Central also won the 1600. Penn’s Ryan Craker came in second with a time of 4:37.

Penn won the 1600 meter relay with runners Evan Drinkall, Colton Shail, Greg Higgins, and Nate Miller.

Nate Miller won the 400 with a final time of 51.99 seconds. Jonathon Gardner was close behind in second with a time of 52.1 seconds.

In the 200 meter dash, Jimmy Colvin came in second, only behind Clay’s first place runner by 0.08 seconds.

The 800 meter resulted in a second place finish by Penn’s Reis Kennedy 2:09.

The team competes at sectionals on Thursday, May 21st at home.
