The Penn men’s rugby team competed in the Midwest championship on May 2nd and 3rd.

The Kingsmen played West Catholic first round and came away with a victory 50-0. Sam Hendershot, Cedric Vakalahi, Sam Scholtes, Jack White, Danial Afa’ese, and Bryant Anderson all scoring tries in the win.

In the semi-finals, Penn played St. Edwards and the kingsmen fell 20-10.

Zach Biggs scored a try in the loss. The kingsmen then faced Brownsburg for the 3rd place title but also fell short losing 17-10.

The Rugby team still earned 4th place in the tournement and have games this weekend at the Moose Lodge in Elkhart.
