The Penn girls cross country team captured the conference championship after having 6 runners in the top 10. The kingsmen had a score of 25. South Bend Adams came in second with a score of 75.
Lauren Frank led the way for Penn finishing the race in first with a time of 19:30.426. Placing 2nd was Penn’s Ellie Jankowski with a time of 19:45.866.
The ladies will compete in sectionals starting Saturday October 8th.
