On February 2-4 the girls swimming sectionals took place at Penn. Teams from 9 other schools made their way here to compete in 12 different disciplines.The Penn team accomplished to be placed first in 7 out of those 12 events.

In the first event, the 200 Yard Medley Relay, our swimmers set a new top time for sectionals with 1:43.21. Another record has been set by the Penn girls. They trumped the old pool time for the 400 Yard Freestyle Relay and set a new one with 3:29.18. In the Final Ranking, Penn dominates first place with 522 points, leading before St Joseph with 432 and Riley with 422 points.

The team will head towards the States Championships at IUPY in Indianapolis on February 10-11. Good luck girls!
