The IHSAA has made a change in the sectional groups for Indiana high school sports.
The changes that affect Penn include both boys and girls basketball, volleyball, football, softball and baseball. The basketball and volleyball teams will both be moving from the Mishawaka/South Bend sectional to the Elkhart sectional. Although Penn will remain in the NIC, this change will have Penn’s basketball and volleyball teams playing NLC teams in the sectionals. The football sectional will replace Portage with LaPorte. The softball and baseball sectional will also include LaPorte.
