The wild bunch shut down Carmel’s offense and special teams didn’t disappoint. The Kingsmen won after a difficult Semi-State rematch against Carmel 16-10.

The first score of the game was a 22 yard field goal by Sam Scholtes for a 3-0 lead. Camden Bohn in the seconded quarter blasted his way into the end zone for a 7 yard touchdown run to make it 10-3. Sam Scholtes made an 38 yard field goal that bounced off the bottom of the post as time expired for halftime. Penn went into halftime with a 13-3 lead. Sam Scholtes secured the victory for the Kingsmen with a 40 yard field goal to make it 16-3.

The 12-1(5-0 NIC) #6(#97 in the nation, according to MaxPrep) Kingsmen play #1(#11 in the nation, according to MaxPrep) Center Grove is 13-0(7-0 Metropolitan). The Kingsmen will compete in the IHSAA state championship November 28th at 7:05 in Lucas Oil Stadium(500 S Capitol Ave, Indianapolis, IN 46225)
