Midwest Extreme is part of a national club, that high school students from Illinois, Michigan, Indiana, and Ohio compete in.

The Midwest Extreme Wrestling Club meets Monday and Wednesday nights from 6:30-8:00 PM, in the wrestling room at Penn High School.

Elite High school students from the Midwest competed in Las Vegas, Nevada on Friday till Sunday, October 23-25. Six wrestlers from Penn competed at this pre-season tournament. Along with 4 other wrestlers from the Midwest area. Penn left the tournament winning the national title.

Penn is ranked 46 in the nation and will compete against the number one team from Chicago, Illinois Oak Park River Forest, on Friday, January 8.
