On Wednesday, May 15th, the Penn boys lacrosse team took on Saint Joe, here at TCU Freed Field. Penn had already faced Saint Joe earlier in their season. With this game, they were looking to beat them. The first quarter of the game was slow going. After the 12 minute section, both teams had only scored one goal.

It took almost 7 minutes in the second quarter for either side to score. With 5 minutes and 18 seconds left, Saint Joe scored a goal. About 2 minutes later, Saint Joe scored again. Seven seconds later, Penn scored a goal, raising the score to 3-2. Going into half time, the score was 4 goals for the Saint Joe Indians and 2 for the Penn Kingsmen.

After a 10 minute half time to come up with a new game plan for winning, the teams took to the field again to fight for the win. Although Penn was fighting hard, Saint Joe was able to score within the first 12 seconds of the quarter. Saint Joe continued to score, ending the quarter with a score of 10 and Penn a score of 3.

At the end of the night, Saint Joe took home the win ending the game with a score of 14 and Penn a score of 4. Penn’s next boys lacrosse game is Friday, May 17th at Marion High School.
