The Penn boys swimming and diving team played Northridge on Dec. 2. The boys swimming and diving team had a narrow loss, losing  91 to 92.

The boys competed in every event winning 8 out 4 events but were not able to win the event because they could not place high enough when they didn’t win. Penn won the 200 yard Medley Relay, 50 yard Freestyle, 1 mtr Diving, 10o yard Butterfly, 100 yard Freestyle, 200 yard Freestyle Relay, 100 yard Backstroke, 400 yard Freestyle Relay.

The winners of the 200 yard Medley Relay were Kyle Morris, Anthony Vernasco, Adam Wait, and Parker Brandenburg. The winner of the 50 yard Freestyle was Matyi Kovacs. The winner of the 1 mtr Diving was Nathaniel Mark.

The winner of the 100 yard Freestyle was Matyi Kovacs. The winners of the 200 yard Freestyle Relay were Matyi Kovacs, Parker Brandenburg, Anthoney Vernasco, and Michael Knutson. The winner of the 100 yard Backstroke Kyle Morris.

The winners of the 400 yard Freestyle Relay were Kyle Morris, Adam Wait, Michael Knutson, and Matyi Kovacs.

The girls was another story winning 115 to 71.

The girls won 10 out of 12 events. Winning in the 200 yard Medley Relay, 200 Yard Freestyle, 200 yard IM, 500 yard Freestyle, 200 yard, 100 yard Breaststroke, 400 yard Freestyle Relay.

The winners of the 200 yard Medley Relay were Casey Ziegert, Kionna Clayton, Makenno Bottorff, and Leeanne Cecil. The winner of the 2o0 yard Freestyle was Kayla Molnar. The winner of the 200 IM was Emily Mechstroth.

The winner of the 50 yard Freestyle was Casey Ziegert. The winner of the 100 yard Butterfly was Taylor Bush. The winner of the 100 yard Freestyle was Leeannne Cecil. The winner of the 500 yard Freestyle Emily Meckstroth.

The winner of the 200 yard Freestyle Relay were Kionna Clayton, Makenna Bottorff, Kayla Molnar, and Emily Meckstroth. The winner of the 100 yard Breaststroke was Kionna Clayton. The winners of the 400 yard Freestyle were Kayla Molnar, Leeanne Cecil, Casey Ziegert, and Emily Meckstroth.
