On Wednesday night, after earning the first round in sectionals, the Lady Kingsmen beat the Riley Wildcats in the sectional semi-final.
Sophomore standout and Louisville commit Danielle Watson struck out 17 Lady Wildcats and only gave up one hit in the Penn 6-0 win. Danielle also hit a home run.
Boston College commit Halle Hixenbaugh contributed with 3 hits in the win, and junior Addie Pixley drove in 2 runs.
The kingsmen will play long-time rival Mishawaka for the sectional championship. This game will be Saturday at noon at LaSalle Academy.
